During 2002 work concentrated on completing the 'north' terrace and as this series of picture show it has made quite a difference to this side of the house.
The first, below, is just after we had started, the whole face of this end of the stable block was covered in vegetation and was almost hidden from view!
As a sort of intermediate stage this was the progress at the end of 2001.
Already we could see how much of a sheltered corner it was going to be.
